I like that. Yeah, I wonder why they don't have the reverse of many spells anymore. Was it an issue with mechanics?
There's still Inflict Wounds and Cure Wounds. They just dropped general "healing harms, harm heals" stuff for undead to keep spells straightforward. And Cure Wounds still doesn't work on undead.

Yes, but now they are separate spells. If I'm not mistaken, in earlier editions there used to be many spells that were reversable.
I'm not quite sure if it was "reversible" like that in 3rd; iirc Clerics basically had a Channel Divinity equivalent that would heal the living and harm undead if their deity was Good, and the opposite arrangement if the deity was Evil, with Neutrals getting to pick one at creation. Well, it was either a separate resource pool or an ability to convert prepped spells to a Cure/Inflict on the fly X times.
Well, UA is a little outside of the scope of the discussion here, and there's a reason they dropped the "you count as two creature types at once" concept. Determining how inclusions and exclusions apply to that is messy.

I'm using the ua reborn so I am classified as both undead and humanoid
