In the spell description for Transport Via Plants it states that any plant Large or larger. To me, size in dnd is a bit odd, a large tree occupied a 10x10 square but is that the trunk or the canopy too? Could you theoretically teleport to a really skinny tree if you just teleport into its canopy instead? Would a large hedge or rose bush count for the spell's target and destination?
The spell Transport via Plants isn't exclusive to trees and may work with any plants of appropriate size, which should be determined by the source, wether a corebook, an adventure, or the DM.

Yeah, the standard seems to be 'find a big tree trunk', but it doesn't really need to be
It should work on hedgerows or large topiary. Your DM might even allow an ivy-covered wall, or something like that

Look for a quaking aspen ( or any aspen) grove - it’s all one plant so even though the individual trunks are small it’s a large or larger plant look up pandoras for reference.
