It was my understanding that the 2014 rules didn't allow 2 weapon fighting and thrown weapons because the feat required the weapons to be melee, but when I looked the 2024 rule it state:
When you make an extra attack as a result of using a weapon that has the Light property, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of that attack if you aren’t already adding it to the damage"
Yes. You can throw weapons while benefiting from the Light property and the Two-Weapon fighting style. If you are throwing daggers, you can also benefit from the Nick property to get an extra attack as part of the Attack (it has the Light, Thrown, and Finesse properties with the Nick mastery).
There was no errata for this, it was just one of the many changes present in the 2024 PHB.
The Dual Wielder feat also does not require a melee attack, only a melee weapon, which most thrown weapons are (sorry darts).
What I haven't pondered before... is does this allow you to throw two light weapons and then a Trident with Dual Wielder+Nick? Or even 2 Tridents if you then get extra attack... that said, I don't think you'd want to throw 2 tridents, since that is a topple weapon. But a fun thought experiment.

Also, if planning to equip and throw your Thrown weapon one at a time while keeping the other hand free, you could benefit from the Dueling Fighting Style feat:
When you’re holding a Melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Now I think about it, this one seems iffy, rules-wise. The bonus is conditioned upon holding the weapon, and you are explicitly not holding it.

That's fair.
Just to add, there is a non-official ruling from the Dev (link to sageadvice.eu) in case someone wants to follow the advice:
@ReubenFontana Does the Dueling Style apply its bonus to a thrown melee weapon? @JeremyECrawford Yes.
EDIT: I know that conversation is pre-2024, but the feat is basically the same.

I must conclude that he was wrong. May be why it never made it into the official compendium.
Long time lurker, first time poster.
It was my understanding that the 2014 rules didn't allow 2 weapon fighting and thrown weapons because the feat required the weapons to be melee, but when I looked the 2024 rule it state:
"Fighting Style Feat (Prerequisite: Fighting Style Feature)
When you make an extra attack as a result of using a weapon that has the Light property, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of that attack if you aren’t already adding it to the damage"

The melee restriction is no longer present. Can players now use two-weapon fighting and thrown weapons? Is there an errata I have missed?
If the melee restriction is no longer valid darts just got a lot better.

It's legit.

I agree with this, else it'd make the Thrown Weapon Fighting Style Feat almost entirely redundant
That's fair.

More important is that Crawford's reply is from before the thrown weapon fighting style was introduced in TCE.
