So This semi came up because I wanted to spice up the 2nd ed Dungeon crawl adventure Dungeon of Death to run in 5E
To spice it up I changes the shadow curse to a portion of the Shadowfell has been anchored to the dungeon causing a deadly curse to permeate the dungeon. Undead, Demons and the other denizens of the dungeon are 'immune' to the effects. But An idea struck me what if one of the demons a Succubus (In the original she was a Lesser demon Alu-fiend) Was not and instead had become a shadow succubus?
My question would be can demons like a succubus be touched by the shadowfell, 'corrupted/ tainted by it?
The great thing about fantasy is that nothing is set in stone. As DM, the reality of your world is whatever you want it to be. Planar influence is a common trope that is entirely fair game.
I figured I would rule it as such since She killed off a PC that was leaving the game due to schedule conflict. In fairness before anyone laments me for killing off a PC cause the player left. I asked him if he wanted his character to go poof or go out in a cinematic glory death. He approved of the death.
Now I just need to incorperate her Shadowfell corruption into a template for her.

If a dragon can be corrupted by the Shadowfell, it seems perfectly reasonable for a succubus to be affected by it under the right circumstances.
