He doesn't really have any, according to the source material I've read. Domain is Carceri/Tarterus where he wars eternally with Maglubiyet of the goblins. Anything else, you'll have to make up for yourself. Don't forget orcs lean towards chaos, so he'd likelier have dealings with yugoloths or demons.
I mean if you just want to use Avernus as "evil only ragnorok" sure have the ultimate battle of ultimate destiny with all the big baddies and their attendant hordes find a casus belli. Really though Acheron is a better place for it as you can sorta have the various factions vie tournament style across the various cubes, maybe even bracketed into a tourney.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.

I don't recall the lore about Gruumsh ever stating that his domain was in Carceri, but older versions of lore do state that his pantheon wandered the planes for a long time while looking for a home. Quite possible that they spent time in Carceri while searching... I do remember that Gruumsh's realm of Nishrek was located on the plane of Acheron. It was said that Nishrek was located on one face of the cube and Clangor (i.e., realm of the goblins) was located on the opposite side. Wars between orcs and goblins occured on the other sides of the cube.
Looking for some lore on Gruumsh's dealing around Avernus.
Much like the point above concerning the orcish pantheon's wandering while looking for a home, I believe that some of the older lore indicates that Gruumsh tried establishing a realm on Gehenna and Baator before being ousted by the local powers/denizens. While the official material might be vague, you could certainly build upon the concept of Gruumsh bringing his petitioner to Avernus and trying to conquer a section of land to establish his divine realm. Would be pretty fitting for the war-prone orcish deity, since the layer of Avernus is a blodwar battlefield already.
Or, if you want a more current build, perhaps Gruumsh is trying to relocate from Acheron back to Avernus?

Thank you all for your information. It is not a current build more of a question if he did anything of note in Avernus. Currently in a campaign that uses a half-orc of many arrows tribe. Some tie-ins are being used and I wanted to educate myself further if Grummsh had any tales or anything of note in the lore concerning avernus
Hey all,
Looking for some lore on Gruumsh's dealing around Avernus. Would appreciate any source material.
Thank you
