Worth money? An everlasting goblet, but it's cracked and anyone drinking from it will always dribble down the front of their armor and clothes. Great ale, though. Almost worth it.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
The wing of an angel, the horns of devil, the tail stinger of a ... insert fiend with a tail stinger
Maybe a nice lamasu rug
Tools of the trade:
Maps - of all sorts of things, planes of existance, fortresses, cities
Books by famous tacticians - like Sun Tzu or Karl von Clausewitz, but fantasy, so maybe the author is a dragon or a sphinx - or a human
Maybe an advisor in a cage - is there a divine counterpart for the imp? Maybe it's a bit hard to cage a lantern archon
Piles of plans and orders - this being a CE creature, maybe suitably disorganised and random
Maybe piles of really bad hate poetry

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
a box of tin soldiers that look exactly like the party.
That’s genius. Creepy but genius. So much RP potential there and the opportunity for a side quest. Or just to let the party tie themselves up in knots about it’s possible purpose.
This is pretty hilarious. Could NPC a game of background noise detailing what everyone at the IRL table is currently doing over at a side tavern of onlooking inebriated gamblers who were betting on the outcome of the fight.
Weird unbreakable dagger of black metal with sigils carved in it (but you can't scratch it), which is completely unaffected by magic. No bonuses but nothing would have magical resistance to it so for the purposes of hitting, so it might as well be. It will fall to the ground if you try to teleport or magically fly with it.
A helmet of a really strange style where various places can be opened as eyeholes
A box full of banners you've never heard of
+1/+3 vs Celestials pike with a personality, which can only be used by people of LE alignment (which is why the demons aren't using it). It hums when anyone who speaks the celestial language is nearby (but only has bonuses vs actual celestials).

What do Demon's want? For example, many D&D other-planar evil beings want souls or other forms of spirit power. Maybe the Demon has an ornate book wish a well penned list of all the people that owe him and what city they live in. Several names are crossed out with a date written next to them. Some of the names glow.
or
A stack of parchment contracts with the details and the names of the signatories. The contracts that have been fulfilled have a single long mark diagonally across the page and the date written over the line. From this information, the PCs could learn what characters they ran across had made a deal and the demon had some leverage over them, but the PCs could also learn why the NPC was willing to make that deal.
Maybe one or two of the contracts were very recent? Maybe one of the contracts mentions a PCs name?
A mummified cat corpse with a red string tied around its neck.
A wooden puppet with a long nose.
An iron rat skull.
A marionette that is made from a human skeleton.
A salt shaker.
A globe but every country's name is spelt backwards.
A sunken ship in a bottle.
A skull with a third eye painted on its forehead.
A box full of spiders.
A pair of iron shoes and a blood soaked hat.
A human hand covered in wax and each finger is a candle.
I used some of these ideas in the following ways:
I made the marionette the skeleton of an npc the party failed to safe from their fate by ignoring the orc problem for multiple months. This was to show consequences of their inaction. They ended up casting Speak with Dead on it for a gag but after finding out who it was, they took the marionette a little bit more serious.
I also used the skill with an eye idea to create a way for the party to eventually be able to communicate with the BBEG of the campaign as this functions as a sort of sending stone.
A crystal who's luminescence project a map of the Lower Planes
Abishai scales

Baatezu's brain in a jar
Abyssal shield made of hard resin amber
A Greatwheel made from an unknown rubbery fabric
Sword made of Baatorian Green Steel
Pouch of residium
A mummified Pit Fiend finger.
I used some of these ideas in the following ways:
I gave them the bottle with water of the river styx, which would give them the ability to make someone forget their last 24 hours if they somehow managed to get them to drink it.
I also gave them the mummified pit fiend finger. I changed it into a wand that has the ability to cast Delayed Blast fireball once before needing to recharge an amount of days that depends on how long they let the fireball cook. If they let it cook for the full 1 minute, they can use it the next day again. If they only let it explode after 1 round of waiting, they need to let it recharge for 9 days.

You actually gave me the idea to give the party some stuff that the demons had captured. Giving them a few elven-themed magical items that the demons had taken as war trophies.

Dear D&D enthusiasts,
Recently my party has defeated a Nalfeshnee that was leading an orcish army. Next week they will get to loot their war camp. What is some interesting stuff they would be able to find? Both magical, nonmagical items or even just treasure that would be worth some money perhaps.
Any and all ideas are welcome,
Thank you in advance!

Use this random treasure generator and pick any items you think would fit. Make sure you set the CR accordingly.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

They might just be minis to play some games of Heroes & Houses tabletop. ;)

Shudder... That truly is demonic.
Thanks...I knew that would hit some people really hard. Le's say it only works if charisma is under 10. LOL.
As far as the Chest...there is a blanket over it...so when you remove it...it looks like you just uncovered a mimic shaped like a chest.
