*le sigh*… nobody mentions dodge? Geez man, with Sentinel and Polearm Master, just get within range of as many baddies as possible and dodge. You’ll get at least one attack every round when people try to come near you or run away, or try to hit someone near you.
I mean... that's a great way to probably get one and only one attack every round? You're aware he only has one reaction, right?
Attacking and clearing enemies off the board is a better defensive option than trying to be "defensive" with a 16 or 17 AC. Your tactic might work in a fight against one single enemy, but in most fights, that's just terrible math.
You realize he only gets one attack per round anyways right? And dodge + sentinel is more efficient vs two opponents.
Gritty realism doesn’t give you room to maneuver when it comes to taking hits.

My Ac is so low that i usually just get hit, even with disadvantage
Talk with the Moon Druid, he/she can wildshape into a DireWolf wich is perfect for your situation. The Direwolf gets advantage when fighting next to you and can knock enemies prone. On top of that wildshape recovers on a short rest. We are talking 2x37 HP per short rest here.
You can still use a spear/shield medium armor combo with dodge. Your reaction still can trigger attacks and once the number of enemies gets cut down a bit, you can attack and bonus attack to finish them of.
(edit: i wrongly remember reading sentinel earlier, my mistake and corrected it)

I don't have sentinel. And with keeping my distance wolf form isnt the best. i do so much damage i get focused by the enemy more than anyone
There are two Druids they have a combined 8 1st lvl and 6 2nd lvl spell slots. Healing spirit on a raging Barbarian goes a very long way, we are talking 28HP on average doubled(rage).
Also the Wildfire spirit can do the following each round, all it costs him is a use of wildshape that recovers on a short rest and the use of a bonus action:
Fiery Teleportation. The spirit and each willing creature of your choice within 5 feet of it teleport up to 15 feet to unoccupied spaces you can see. Then each creature within 5 feet of the space that the spirit left must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 1d6 + PB fire damage.
So not only would he do damage with it, he would also increase the chance to trigger your PAM reaction and he would annoy the DM in attacking the spirit wich soaks up damage.

I have mentioned this. but the moon druid usually burns through wild shapes and uses spells for healing himself. The wildfire uses the teleportation on himself and the wizard mostly. Also he saves his wild shapes for getting out of bad situations. either with giant lizard or warhorse. I have received a single cure wounds, and a potion of healing the entire campaign lol. Hence why im not too keen to help by tanking everything for them anymore.....
Honestly, this is not a barbarian problem, this is a party problem. You're trying to help the rest of the party... and they aren't returning the favor.
It sounds to me as if the gritty realism makes everyone fight for themselves... that is sad. (Having a get out of jail plan that involves ditching the party is perfectly fine as a last resort, but until then everyone should do their best to work together)

I think its just personal playstyle. i have played a paladin in gritty as a paladin and was fairly liberal with helping and healing. and our monk and druid in that game helped a lot too. XD I tend to play too much as a team player when others are just looking out for themselves.
I sorta echo what some other players have said, that this campaign seems very one sided against you. It's supposed to be a low magic setting, but they can use their spell slots freely and heal without consequence? Magic is supposed to grab attention, keeping you from using their wings, but encounters go after you, not the three spell casters in the party? Or if they are targeting the spell casters, the players are hiding behind you as a meat shield, letting you sponge the damage, and refusing to heal you? When other than the new rogue, you're the only one in the party that can't heal. I'm all for gritty realism, but when you've been the only character that can't regain HP despite being the party meat shield, I'm calling BS on the DM/players. Part of me wants to tell you to fly out of range and let them get hit for awhile until they realize that they need you in combat to be successful, and that they could spare some healing/wildshapes/spells to help you instead of just looking out for themselves all the time. You easily have the highest HP, and healing goes a lot farther on you than them. Frankly, they could use an ultimatum of either helping you with healing or you're not going to be their meat shield anymore.
Talk to your DM about how this is affecting the gameplay for you.
Essentially it takes a full week of rest to regain all your lost hit points. You should only be engaging in one significant fight per week at most, and really probably more like one per month.
Nah be more subtle about it. Next time you are at a shop buy some Darts. The next combat hide behind the Rogue and throw Darts. That should give your team mates the message :D

RAW, its not like they are getting anything special. its just that magic..... is OP. and they can just heal over and over without letting people see.
I recommend throwing glitter and berry juice on your friends and pretending to be a druid healing them. When they shout: "You aren't the cleric, you can't heal people!", just fly into a Rage and scream back "BUT YOU ARE, SO HEAL ME!!!"

might see if my dm will allow me to swap my feat for the healer feat. that way i can heal more often.

Instead of darts i would recommend spears, still all the benefits from PAM and still a range to trow of 20/60ft.
i think he means because the damage is pitiful and attracts more attention
I recommend throwing party members, it gets the point across even better.
