I want to make a Sosuke Aizen build. For the build I'm aiming for mainly just his Shikai abilities but if you have space you can add melee/other attacks. For those who are unfamiliar with this character, he is an important and insanely powerful character that uses his Kyoka Suigetsu (Shikai) to control his opponents 5 senses.. I'll have a link for his bio here:https://bleach.fandom.com/wiki/Sōsuke_Aizen I'm mainly focused on just no homebrew, but if you want for fun you can do a homebrew version as long as theres a normal one !
Bleach as a source has different rules that govern the anime.
But you can work out similar things to do and play, as long as you know on what to compromise and what rules the DM plays with (what amount of homebrew it allows).
As flavor, you can do whatever you want with whatever class, in the way of activating features or how they work.
Aizen, and probably many bleach characters as a trope, could work in a Warlock (blade pact) package. Choosing spells that correlate to the mechanics you want. In the case of kyoka suigetsu, using mainly illusion like spells. The blade pact weapon can be flavored to appear or empower when you want.
Another possibility could be using a Wizard-bladesinger base (an intelligent fighter that uses its intellegence for more than casting spells), and having bladesong buffs not be purely skill, but kyoka suigetsu meddling at the opponents minds.
The spells would be the kido equivalent, and since is aizen, illusion/charms should be your focus (flavor to your taste):mirror image, hypnotic pattern, minor/ major illusion, etc.
Take into account that Aizen, as a character, is good at everything and that is difficult to achieve in d&d normally, but as long as you play the parts that you like and compromise you should have fun.
As for kyoka suigetsu being a magical item, thats entirely in the DMs place to make, give or approve. Better to just play the flavor. And remember that in here illusions have a ST to disbelief so its balanced.
Good luck and maybe others can chime in with better ideas.
