If I make a bard sorcerer multiclass and my sorcerous origin is the draconic bloodline, would sorcerer be my first or second class? The College I'm going with is the College of Creation and the current levels I starting with is Bard at level 3 and Sorcerer at level 2, I don't know if this changes anything significantly.
Sorcerers start with Constitution and Charisma saving throw proficiencies, while Bards start with Dexterity and Charisma. So it really comes down to whether you prefer to be a little better ad avoiding most sources of AoE damage with your Dexterity Saves, or would you rather be better at keeping your concentration spells up by having stronger Constitution saving throws.
You might want to consider taking your first 5 levels in one class or the other, because I'm playing a character that I multiclass early, and that additional 2 levels of waiting for L3 spells was excruciating. Whatever split you choose, I hope you have a blast. I'm personally a fan of the Creation Bard, because at later levels they can create their own expensive material components with a L2 spell slot, allowing them to casually cast a lot of spells (like Greater Restoration) that other casters wouldn't be able to, due to having to plan for the material components.
Bard will also start with Light Armor while Sorcerer gets no Armor proficiency.
Then Bard gets 3 choices of any skills while Sorcerer gets to select 2 from a set list (and 3 instruments).
Finally Bard also gets all the simple weapons and a selection of martial weapon proficiencies.
If you start with Bard but find you're impacted too much from loosing concentration checks, you can take the "Resilient" feat which will give you proficiency with the saves and add one to your constitution score, or you can take the "War Caster" feat which will grant you advantage on the Concentration checks among other benefits for a caster.
Even if your character is starting the campaign at level 5 you build them up starting at level 1 and then level up. In this case you can choose how you get to bard3/sorc2. In reality the only thing that make a difference to your level 5 character is which class you took at level one, with one of the differences being that your saving throw proficiencies are based on that class, other differences are highlighted above.
The other reason that it makes a difference that you level up one at a time is a restriction on your spells known, a level 3 bard can only know two 2nd level spells as they do not know any at level 2, the extra one you get at 3rd level and one swap out.
