Starting at level 6 and am going to play as a zealot barbarian, and want to know what a good build idea would be. Not really wanting to use the baisc PAM and GWM combo, but still open to it. Any ideas are very appreciated.
Because Divine Fury is once per turn, you could try a dual wielding build to maximum your chances of getting that one hit in -- much the same way you might dual wield with a rogue to try and ensure you get in your Sneak Attack

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Barbarian "builds" are all either PAM/GWM or two-weapon fighting. Barbarians run into combat and kill things. My only other suggestion would be Zealot-Barbarian-5 + 1-monk if you want to be a punch-y barbarian rather than use weapons but it will be suboptimal compared to PAM/GWM or two-weapon fighting.
I am surprised no one has said a reborn for race with straight zealot barbarian. Not only do you get advantage on death saving throws but you also get immunity to sleep magic. Sleep is a potent danger to zealot barbarians https://100001****/https://1921681254.mx/ .
Other than that would say got full GWM or PAM and GWM. If your death resilience you can sacrifice a shield for extra offensive potential.
