Hey guys as the title says I want some help on how to optimise my fallen aasimar gunslinger. I will be using Matthew mercer's gunslinger and the character is at level 1 right now. I will be using him in the upcoming Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign that comes out in September. The stats for my character :rolled + racial stats are shown below. Cha 11 Dex 17 Str 8 Con 13 Wis 16 Int 12
i recommend you talk to your DM and ask him if he could shift your saving throw from strength to dexterity as it is your main stat. This archtype excels at dealing a lot of damage however it has the problem if not having magical damage which might be a problem if you start facing creatures with resistance/immunity to non magical weapons so again i'd recommend you ask the DM to allow you to have or make bullets or guns that are magical and more importantly is it hard to gain ammo or not as this class really depends on your firearm.
Choosing a gun depends on your preference. Percy's guns are good but with a huge missfire chance so if you are like me a shitty roller i'd suggest you go for missfire 1. These are the only things i have in mind as tips. Oh and, though absurd, you are on a heist right? perhaps your DM could give you a form of silencer? that might help in stealth missions.
