I have never really liked any DnD character I've created despite playing DnD for a bit over 15 years....until now.
My new character is an ex-burglar halfling who now does odd jobs such as rat catching, labouring, seasonal vegetable picking, hunting rabbits/small game and anything else that will earn him a copper or two.
He has no grand agenda, isn't out to save the world and is mainly concerned with basic survival especially as his old gang have a beef with him after he foiled a burglary to save a young kid. He is intelligent but not very wise and has a very limited world view due to his rural background.
And best thing is I've based his personality, speech and mannerisms on a famous Australian soap opera character - one Alf Stewart from Home and Away so he's a lot of fun to play.
