This is going to be a silly question but I can't work it out.
If I add an encounter to my campaign how private is it. I don't want to build an encounter and add it to the campaign if my players are going to be able to look and see oh our next encounter is going to be xyz.
I'm having trouble working out how much of my campaign my players can see, the obvious stuff like DM notes private and public I got. But I'm not sure when they will be able to see encounters, will it show up if I run the encounter (if for example, I wanted to have a test run and see how dangerous it actually is) is that going to show up in the game log?
I'm sure the answer is obvious but it's flying right over my head, any clear clarification is appreciated.
