hey i had the idea of what if i made a mc themed campaign.
i was thinking about all the changes it would make, like using blocks as a measurement rather than feet.
i realized just how easy a plot you could make too.
you could do a story where the endermen intend to unleash the ender dragon on the overworld, thus having the party need to do a dream speedrunish campaign.
or how about having piglins and illigers as playable races. and i know that in a minecraft world, you cant play elves or dwarves, which is a shame, but could be cool nonetheless.
explode: the creeper ignites, all creatures within 5 feet must make a dexterity saving throw or take 4d8 fire damage and be knocked prone. if a creature saves they take half damage and are not knocked prone. cr:1/2
an enderman could teleport using misty step and take 2d6 acid damage if it touches water.

Hollow unbreakable arrows are the most OP common magic item, and my current method of coming up with insane combat shenanigans.
if you make a steel pipe with one end closed and a nozzle on the other, you can enlarge it, fill with any liquid, and then drop concentration, creating a high pressure squirt gun. (or a pipe bomb, depending if it holds)

I recall making a race as somewhat of a joke that was a Minecraft boi. It's a bit overpowered though.

I actually had the exact same idea a while back and think I have a few things you could use:
place/break a block: 1 action
if there are creepers I have an idea for some stats too
creeper: medium monstrosity
15 hp 12 ac dex: 16 (+3) str: 7 (-2) con: 10 (0) wis: 10 (0) int: 6 (-2) cha: 4 (-3)
stealth: +6
actions:

Misty Step at will would make sense because they can teleport whenever also when it touches water it moves to a unoccupied space by teleport
