Will we still be able to purchase things individually? Like just buying races from a book instead of purchasing the whole book or do we have to buy the whole thing?
There has been no announcement that they are intending on changing anything - and the current system is one of the most profitable enterprises in Hasbro (even with them only receiving a portion of the proceeds from Fandom). There is no reason to expect they are going to start messing with a monetisation system that is clearly working.

Hey Caerwyn_Glyndwr, this is a genuine ask, where did you get that information from? I'm just curious if there was any more detail. Thanks.

There will be changes. To what, we don't know.
However, WotC would have been setting the pricing structure from the start. I doubt we'll see changes in that area.

Not sure what part you are asking about, so I’ll cover everything. The lack of information about upcoming changes comes from following the homepage here fairly closely and not seeing any announced changes. The profitability comes from Hasbro’s press releases, both on the subject or the acquisition and a few years worth of investor briefings and other press releases noting how profitable D&D has been for them.
The rest is just extrapolation based on corporate common sense - they are unlikely to risk destroying one of their “fastest growing” revenue sources by changing the model of monetisation when it so clearly is working out well for them.
