Hello! I'm actually very new to this, and am starting a small group but to give a little more options i was wondering, if i buy for example the Assasin only, would i have everyting related to it? or will i need to buy additional content to have the subclass completed?
When you buy a subclass, you get access to that subclass in the character builder. The only things you wouldn't get are spells if it's a subclass that adds spellcasting ability, like the Arcane Trickster. In that event, you'd only have access to spells from the Basic Rules and would have to purchase access to other spells whether from the Player's Handbook or other books.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
