My 6th level ranger recently got bitten by a wererat and failed the saving throw. He is cursed with lycanthropy now but I do not see any options for adding lycanthropy to your character on the sheet or edit. Do you know if it is possible and if yes how do you think would be the best way to use lycanthropy to your advantage.
I've got a character who became a wereboar. I made a feat that set the altered stats, and added in the relevant attacks and immunities (though my character got it from a hag curse, so he only has resistance).
While I'm not in this situation, I'd love to see how people solve this in DDB. It's mentioned in the (edit) DMG MM, but I don't have my source with me and don't currently know if it goes into specific details about playing such a character as to set down any rules (optional or not) for DDB to implement. DDB won't implement anything regarding game mechanics if it's not official in some way.
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
All I found for this is to override the Ability score in question.
Then, as the DM, I went into Extras and added the lycanthrope type so we could easily see the abilities such as shapechanger and keen smell at a glance. The player is a Paladin and there is the option from either the PC cleric in the group to Remove Curse or go to the local Temple of the Silver Flame and remove it. But he is considering the options of keeping the wererat

Long time player and DM since 1992. I have played and run various, numerous games, many of them Table Top over the years.
We're looking at all options. I just have a player who at first wasn't keen on lycanthropy and then next session is maybe I will, I like the higher dexterity. There's options and they're not stuck with it like if we were in Ravenloft and the cures are harder to come by.

So, there's no way to really change the sheet. Aside from doing an override on the character sheet for the dex.
If he can learn to control his transformation and urges, being a wererat can be very useful.

Jump into a group of goblins and go full werebear on them. Maybe have a druid to cast animal friendship just in case though.

The other option is to remove the lycanthropy. In addition to remove curse there is (apparently) a potion that removes lycanthropy (blood of the lycanthrope antidote -
