Regarding shape water after create water, how would you all rule on the idea of making a "frozen ramp" in an area, where it would take 2 uses of shape water to form and freeze the ramp? would you allow a 5 ft. "difficult" ground for this? it does take 3 actions... What are some better ways to accomplish this? just an entangle or spike growth? can i freeze a curtain of water and get cover? (3 actions again, unless water is already nearby). Can i freeze water that is inside of a hollow golem or steam robot? since the creature isn't "inside" the water?
Also with Bonfire and Thorn whip, can you drag folks into the bonfire, or is it just better to repeatedly bonfire? you need to create it, presumably on the baddie, then will they take that bonfire damage again on the bad guy's turn? and if they maneuver out of the fire, it might be possible to whip them back into it, or just recast it under them again.
another thought: can i animate some water i have created, say in a sack and two buckets. I direct the water to lift the 3 vessels upsidedown and maintain them at different heights, between me and an enemy?
I have guidance (Stars Druid), mending (I'm an autognome so I can heal myself), produce flame, and Shillelagh but I haven't used Shillelagh since my first few levels (I'm 9 now) -- I also don't have a magic weapon so I'm holding on to it just in case.
i like this one! give everyone a few so everyone is capable of bringing back allies... very good use from a lvl 1 spell. i think it earns the spot over the bonus action healing word spell, i hope my party is ok with 2-3 berries each instead of 3 or 4 heals total...

Before you rely on Goodberry exclusively, double check your GM's stance on being able to feed them to unconscious creatures. If they rule that you can't, you'll likely want Healing Word to be able to get downed allies back up.
ok i'm back.. i'm level 4 and got telekinetic cause i'm not done wasting time with cantrips.
now i want to make a 1-gallon "water sphere" than I turn opaque and freeze. I use my mage hand to hold the sphere in front of an enemy's nose. Would this distract them?
also, previous session, i started to just carry a 5-foot cube of water behind me, ordering it to follow me as a rolling ball of water, to have a large mass to work with whenever i encountered a pool or a stream, i'd be able to slowly take water along with me... and then i used it to make a bowl to float across a lake in... all rather useless but fun.
Look what you've done, spoiling it for you and everyone who can see this screen. You're a disgrace, you know that, right? You have nothing to be ashamed of but yourself, you moster!
But to be completely fair, every monster has a cute side, like have you seen people draw goblins? Goblins look so cool! You're fine, you may seem like a monster, but I bet you're cute on the inside!
I love playing Grung. I always add druid or cleric levels for create water so they have somewhere to sleep. I have stated out a doubled sized rain catcher from ToA that is basically a waterbed.
A fun one- someone was grappling our cleric so I cast heat metal on the cleric. Turns out it was a fiend immune to fire damage so it didn't work but it was still a fun moment!
Bonfire and thorn whip is a great combo. Shape water is very powerful. 5 cubic feet of water = 37 gallons. That's not small. You can freeze the water and use it as a shield from a ranged weapon, an obstacle to block a narrow corridor, a barricade against a door, etc. It's unclear whether you can freeze the water and then move (hurl) it at opponents, e.g., forming a 37 gallon frozen ice sphere, then using it as a bowling ball against a crowd/group.
Other good 1st level spell combos available to low level druids are:
Combining wild shape with faerie fire, entangle, jump, guidance, resistance, long strider
Use thunderwave, gust or mold earth (by loosening the ground) when a target is within 5 feet of a cliff/chasm to push them off the cliff/chasm
Mold earth creates illusions and illusions are always useful for a distraction. The spell allows you cause shapes, colors, or both to appear on the dirt or stone, spelling out words, creating images, or shaping patterns
You can use snare to lure, then restrain, a party leader (who fails a DEX saving throw)
Charm person then have them cast magic stones. Or cast magic stone and distribute the stones to allies (including NPCs)
If the DM permits, combine poison spray with gust to increase AOE of poison spray
Hi all, Here's some ideas to get this rolling:

what cantrips do most of you roll with?
Thanks for your time.
It's instantaneous, so animate into simple shape + freeze simple shape (your curtain and ramp examples) should work.
Freezing water that's inside a creature or container likely wouldn't, as you don't have line of effect inside.
Thorn Whip + Bonfire is a decent low-level combo.

You cannot manipulate 3 volumes of water at the same time, only 2.

Yes, you can combine thorn whip and bonfire.
Food, Scifi/fantasy, anime, DND 5E and OSR geek.
Cast Goodberry before you start a long rest and after it they will still be good for 16 hours and you will have all your spell slots back.

What do you mean by "distract?" What specifically are you hoping for?
"Amazing. Just beautiful.", says my very jealous druid that didn't think of this before you did...
Look at it! Beauty! A spoiler!
