I have been wanting to create a character similar to a book character named Dagan Halderson, here is a list of notable abilities: 1. At home in nature and a natural hunter like a ranger 2. He is versatile with weapons, mostly with spears, daggers, short axes 3. He is a strong fighter and is physically strong 4. He has an ability to heal, strong enough to replace an entire limb, although he still almost died 5. The ability to heal later helps him with combat stamina and even is able to infuse mana into weapons to strengthen his weapons, and when he eats he can use his ability to burn food and turn it directly into mana, he doesn't use it for nutrients 6. Last ability is he sort of has an ability similar to rage, he can use his mana to make himself physically stronger and resistant to damage
I am pretty sure it's a multi-class but I would like ideas, and no I don't care if It has all abilities just mostly his iconic weapons and looks, he also uses scale mail later in the books
The book series is Savage Ascension if you're curious, also it is NSFW series
Thanks everyone for the comments, I appreciate it alot!
Sounds like a Ranger. Rangers are at home in nature (you already noted that), Rangers have proficiency in all weapons, Rangers can be Strength based, Rangers have the ability to heal, Rangers can empower their weapons with Ensnaring Strike and some other spells, Rangers can make themselves physically stronger with Guardian of Nature and resistant to damage with Stoneskin and various protection spells, and Rangers can use scale mail.
You could multiclass if you want, but it doesn't seem especially necessary.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
A fighter main would give you 2 and 3 and once you get second wind that's 4 as well. Choose survival as a skill and that's point 1 too. A one or two level dip into barbarian would take care of 6 so it's only really point 5 missing which seems more of a fuel for 6 than a separate point but something like the great weapon master or sharpshooter feats (depending if you're melee or ranged) would be functionally similar to strengthening your weapons
About the only thing that’s far outside the Ranger wheelhouse is regrowing a limb; about the only way you can do that is with the 7th level spell Regenerate, which is not only a higher level than Rangers get, but also sufficiently high level that a lot of campaigns won’t go far enough to allow anyone to get at it. As for a Barb dip, it’s technically an option but between Ranger and Barbarian pre-reqs you need STR and DEX, which is a less than ideal spread. It’s workable, but there’s a definite speed bump unless you get some really good stat rolls.

^ Yeah OP I'd recommend you refluff the limb thing rather than looking for for this to be mechanically identical. Limb loss is very rare in D&D and thus undoing it tends to be the province of very powerful magic.

Eh, it seems like the character would be Strength based anyways, and they'd have to wear medium armor, so a 13 in Dex isn't really out of the question.

Eh, Ranger tends to favor DEX over STR; like I said, it’s workable, but stretches your stats a bit.

Maybe multiclass a level in Barbarian for Rage.

I could see Paladin working for this too, especially an Oath of the Ancients. Has a lot of the elements you're looking for.
