I don't use these forums much so wasn't sure where to post this but I have a lot of greyed out tokens in Maps. I own a lot of content and a Master subscription. I guess that doesn't give me access to all tokens but it would be nice to know if something is grey out what content it is from.
Also it seems incredibly limiting to not be able to edit monster stat blocks in maps or created my own. Was seriously considering switching to maps but it sure is lacking a lot of basic features.
Maps doesn't support content sharing for some reason, so you can only use tokens from content you actually own. Stuff you only have access to through content sharing won't be available. Having a subscription doesn't give you access to any actual content.
You can create your own monster stat blocks using the homebrew system and use them in Maps, though you can't edit them in Maps directly.
Maps is still officially in beta status, but you're right that it's missing a lot of functionality common to other existing VTT products. We can only hope that they get there eventually.

Exactly how does one do this? I created a homebrew simple human gang member but see no way to get him in Maps
So, when I use Maps, all my homebrew monsters show up in the Tokens thing if I start typing the name. If yours don't, you might want to make sure you don't have any filters on that might be filtering it out.
