The most recent UA added optional features that upgrade or replace certain elements of existing class features. When we get these on DnDBeyond, will we be able to create homebrew that meets a similar end?
If so, that would open the gateway for entire custom classes to be added to DnDBeyond by hijacking an existing class to over-ride, and this thought pleases me greatly.
Or, will DDB not support the new alternative class features?
I at least expect to see those fighting styles, sorcerer metamagics, and warlock pact/invocations. Adding playtest options to existing options lists is easy.
Adding spells to spell lists and adding alternate class features in a way that makes it distinctly playtest and can be toggled will require extra coding on their part and will probably take a while.
