Since DNDBeyond wont let you create a homebrew class I made this as a subclass for sorcerer to get the 1d6 hit die and the ability to get all the class features at lvl 1
The first thing I had changed on this was Changing Grim harvest,
I have given the class Soul Shards (=con mod (min of 1))
at lvl 2 you gain the ability to spend a Soul Shard to double the damage you deal (must use this feature before rolling damage)
at lvl 6 you gain the ability to summon a Shattered Soul with HP equal to half the damage you had just dealt for 2 soul shards, you may spend 1 soul shard to heal the Shattered Soul equal to half the damage you have dealt (can use both of these abilities after dealing damage)
Moved Soul Ripper from a stand alone lvl 20 to part of Grim Harvest (as an action you can spend all soul shards (must spend the maximum amount) to deal 80 necrotic damage, if the target has below 80 hit points they must make a Con save DC (8+Prof mod+Con Mod) on a failed save they instantly die and you regain half the soul shards you spent to use this action
You regain spent soul shards by either a long rest, one soul shard when 2 creatures die within 60ft of you (see soul leeching), whenever anything (foe or ally) is dealt a critical hit they take an additional 1d4 necrotic damage as you pull a piece of their life force into you to regain one shard
Removed the Archtypes and added the Harvester into the base class while changing
Soul Leeching to 2 creatures instead of 1 to gain a soul shard (removed the CR restriction)
Added the shards as an ability rather than something that goes away after a rest
Also still up in the air about not having to roll for attacks and dealing 1d4 per reaper lvl
