My players have a succubus that has established herself as a long term rival. So far, her combat strategy is:
Enter the material plane
Charm PC
Enter the etherial plane when at risks of death
The problem is, the players are now level 8 and highly min-maxed, and I want to add features to the succubus to make her a more reasonable challenge. What are some good features to add to increase the succubus's danger? My thoughts so far involve a night hag's dream ability, but that's about it.
Maybe give it a form of plate or half plate to up AC (16-18)
It's already strong defensively with those two things and resistance to nonmagical b,p, and s, but if you want to add magic resistance you can (especially if the party is caster heavy)
The dream ability is a really solid idea, love it, consider maybe adding some spells in addition:

Honestly, the plus of homebrew beefing up your own bosses is you can make it up as you go! as long as you don't abuse the power, the players will enjoy any new and creative challenge (even one use of dream^ goes a long way)
