Bloodline Spells; In my campaigns, Sorcerers gain the ability to use Bloodline Spells. Feel free to include or exclude this feature.
1st; Hellish Renuke, Charm Person 3rd; Gift of Gab, Scorching Ray 5th; Fireball, Fast Friends 7th; Wall of Fire, Charm Monster 9th; Dominate Person, Infernal Calling
Infernal Legacy Upon picking this subclass, you gain the Thaumaturgy Cantrip and can read, write, and speak Infernal if you cannot already. With lying coming as second nature to you, you gain proficiency in Deception if you don’t have it already.
When trying to determine the true motives of a character, you can roll a Deception Check instead of Insight. The only ones good at deducing lies are liars themselves.
Eyes of the Inferno Starting at first level, you gain 60 ft of darkvision if you do not have it already.
Once you hit 3rd level, you can soend 2 sorcery points to see through magical darkness for one hour. This sight’s radius is equal to the amount of feet you can see in Darkvision.
Hellfire Adept Starting at 6th level, your pyromancy spells tear at their victims’ minds alongside their bodies.
For each creature hit by one of your fire spells, you can spend 1 sorcery points to make them roll a Wisdom Saving throw. On a failed saving throw, they take 3d6 psychic damage and half on a success.
This bumps to 4d6 at 11th level and 5d6 at 17th level.
Infernal Metamorphosis Starting at 14th level, your body begins to evolve into the fiend it was destined to be. By spending sorcery points, you can apply one of these changes. Note, some characters may not be fond of these changes and may become hostile. You can disable any of these features as a BA. -For 1 Sorcery Point, your eyes glow a hypnotic red, allowing you to reroll a Charisma check or Saving throw. If this second roll is a success, the target has no idea that you tried to charm it. -For 2 Sorcery Points, you can sprout infernal wings for one minutes, granting you a 30 ft of flying speed. -For 3 sorcery points, your body turns a crimson red, granting you immunity to fire damage for 1 hour.
Archdevil’s Ascension -Starting at 18th level, your body has completed its evolution. Lesser Devils fear you and Greater Devils respect you. Creatures of Good may become hostile if you are not careful. Regardless, you have the wit and guile to charm even the staunchest of people to do your budding.
By spending 6 sorcery points, you can assume an infernal form for 1 minute. You can dismiss this form as a BA. This form ends if you are incapacitated or you die. -You gain advantage on charisma uchecks and saving throws -You become immune to fire damage -When targeting a creature with a fire spell, you can have them roll a Wisdom Saving throw. Alongside the paychic damage, a failed saving throw stuns the creature until the end of your next turn.
I feel like an ability dedicated to lying and deception would work in the subclass, something like a hypnotic pattern in your flames that can make a creature more trusting, more fiend like in personality or gives you the ability to force them to take one action that they think they make by choice unsure what it would replace but think it fits the deception part of the subclass well
I know but I feel like a dedicated ability would fit better the concept behind my idea is manipulating people in clever ways giving you tools to act sort of like Jafar from aladdin using that hypnotic pattern to make a noble more fiend like to gain a powerful ally for a while make them more trusting to get in big and allow access to bigger and bigger people so they can spread their corruption or make them take one action that could encite a conflict you can use for your gain and I like how it fits with the hellfire. In the end it's your sublcass and I was just presenting an idea it's fine if you don't like it
I can consider it. My only thing is that you kond have the tools to do that.
At lvl 1, you get proficiency in deception and the charm person spell. At lvl 2, you can Subtle cast it and start manipulating people. You can flavor it be a hypnotic effect. Persuasion should be up your alley as a proficiency for a face char like Sorc
At level 5, you can get Fast Friends which is an even stronger Charm Person. You can even grab Suggestion at lvl 3. All of these can cast with Subtle Spell btw.
And at lvl 7, you get charm monster. At lvl 9, you get Dominate Person.
So, there’s a lot you can work with as is. I built the subclass to be this guile, charismatic trickster just like the devils it is derived from. I could consider adding the lvl 14 abilities earlier, but I doubt they’ll be necessary.

This sounds exactly like what I needed when I was playing a demon sorcerer named Samael
