So I am using the homebrew item creator to bring in some magic armor from an existing campaign. My specific issue is that the max Dex adjustment on medium armor applied when I change the drop down menu to full Dex. I tried adding a modifier for max Dex adjustment, but that didn't work either. Is there a way to do this I am not thinking of? I don't want to override the AC of the individual characters to include the additional bonus if I can avoid it.
Right, the drop down bow is what I tried at first. It seemed pretty straight forward. However, even with the drop down box it caps the dex bonus at +2 when applied to a character.

Try to use "Set" instead of "Bonus" for setting the Max Dex modifier.
OK, I tried changing the modifier to set, but now when I open up the character and add the armor to their inventory it won't "wear" the armor.
OK, I think I have found it. try to delete that modifier. Next to Base Armor in Basic Information, there is a drop-menu for the Max Dex modifier.

Try now to check your armor.
Perfect, Thank you very much for your help with this.
