Basically, I am getting fond of DND Beyond, and I like the homebrew feats, backgrounds and classes and such, and I was wondering if we (the community) could have a new section called "Homebrew Rules" that you can use to create rules and then add them to a campaign.
And basically, when people join a campaign, there will be a page with "Custom Rules and Variants" that they can browse through to understand what the DM intends.
Has this been suggested before?
If not, how can I raise this idea to the devs in the most effective way possible, because I think this is of great benefit.
As far as I know, this topic has never been raised, but I was actually just thinking about that when I came upon this post. The best way to explain it might be to use an example (e.g. In the campaign I am part of, we all start out with a feat, so make a thing that lets us choose a feat in character creation when in this campaign) and then flesh out the idea a bit more. Timewise, DDB might not be able to put every possible idea on that section, but it would still be useful.
It's a great idea, though it'd be a bit of a hassle to add the extra areas for it all but it's not a priority and no major issue so I wouldn't mind having to wait for a year or so before it's all well and good

Darkest Dungeon-like DnD Insanity System
Let's put a meter to that foolish bravery, for both you and the NPCs.
(and help give the INT stat more uses)

Homebrew is fun.
It is not a priority, I agree, but it's something that would really allow a good way to share the house rules people have down the line.
