The long night approaches, and the frigid fog rolls in. Do you help the Vistani deal with the Dread Lord? Or do you watch the world burn around you?
Weekly Monday: 6:30p - 10p ET or Thursday: 6:30p - 10p ET
About the Game: Welcome to BAROVIA
Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness.
Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself.
Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The winds howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them.
Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle is towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited.
Adventure Hook:
Walking through Baldur's Gate after a successful mission, you notice strange individuals, rowdy and colorful, camped by the side of the road 20 or so feet from the Gate. They drink wine, dance, sing and are relatively merry.
One individual, clearly associated with the group as they are dress in fine, colorful clothing approaches you and your companions and speaks clearly, "Oi, travelers. Mayhaps a well armed group such as yourselves help some travelers in need?" The travelers pleads with you, "Please, hear our story!" and pushes a bottle of fancy, and expensive, wine into your hands as he leads you over to his troupe to begin his tale.

Why play a paid game over a free one?
This is a debate that has been happening for years, and since 2020, it's been going stronger than ever. Here are my reasons why paid games are worth the money:
1. DMs (including myself) are more consistent, and reliable. There will never be a time that I don't show up for a session unless it is planned in advance unless something absolutely extreme happens. 2. DMs (including myself) are more committed and have more experience. For me, I love D&D and this is a full-time job for me. If I fail or have a bad player experience, I don't eat. 3. Committed players. People who pay for games are more serious about there D&D sessions. People who are professionals, with families, or otherwise have very little time to themselves so when they get to play, they want the best experience possible. 4. Consistently full groups. Like above, players won't simply dip out of games randomly. They paid, and they want their money's worth. 5. Roll20 Pro features 6. Complete collection of source books on D&D Beyond
