I have sessions available on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. All of these sessions are ran from 7pm to 11pm cst. These are sessions that have been running for several months so thus have plot development already. Each game is different. The same player can play in multiple games, or just one based on need/availability. Please inquire for more information.
About me as the Game Master!
Hello, I often go by PUN, I am 24, I use the He/Him pronouns. I live in Texas with my boyfriend and two cats and two dogs. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about half my life. I have been a Dungeon Master for over 6 years. I have been a professional Dungeon Master for right at a year now. I started out in 3.5 and quickly moved to 5e where I picked up DMing for my small group of friends. It has been one of my biggest passions and greatest joys being able to make an amazing story with those sitting across the table or, in more recent times, screen.
My GMing style is a bit more laid back than most I have experienced in my day. I hate the feeling of the DM being against or "beating" the players. My goal is to build a story with and around the player in my game. If you are not having fun then I am not having fun.
I love a good roleplay heavy session. I have a couple of voices that I can do but don't make fun of me for slipping in and out of them! I am a super laid back and a "will of the players" type GM. The "rule of cool" is something I live by, I may allow something to happen just because I deem it cool. I sometimes twist or bend the rules to make a game more fun for both the players and myself. I mostly run a homebrew game but love running more sandbox modules such as Out of the Abyss.
About the Game.
I have my own homebrew world called Statera. A land torn apart by the balance it seeks, literally. Humans have been purged off the face of the plane as recompense for the killing of the creation Goddess Io, ages ago. As such human will not be a selectable race. These games are in midcampaign so depending on your availability more information about the specific world will be given!
I have sessions available on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. All of these sessions are ran from 7pm to 11pm cst.
All races and classes in official Wizards of the Coast published book are free game to use. I am even open to allowing UA/Homebrew as long as it has been submitted and approved by me before session 1 begins. We will be using roll20 for maps and combats, discord for voice chat, and D&Dbeyond for character sheet upkeep and rolling. There is an extension (beyond20) that allows you to roll on D&DBeyond and it port it over to roll20 and I have found it to be super effective. So that will be used as well.
Players will be starting at level 1 with an expectation of completing the campaign at level 20, after some time of course. I do milestone leveling and will progress you as the story progresses. The first 3-4 levels go by pretty quickly as I know I do not enjoy playing in those levels so I doubt many people do either. But I like having the feeling of progressing through those levels making the end game feel more fought for.
What to expect.
Payment for games is as follows: $80 paid before the end of the month to be allowed to play in the next month of games. We only play 4 times a month allowing me to take a break on any month that has a 5th day of the week that we play on.
I know $80 a month can sound steep to play D&D but that is $20 a session for the four sessions we play a month and $5 an hour for the four hours that we play together. I put a lot of time and energy into making these games enjoyable for you and tailored to each group. This is my full time job so I can focus on my games and only my games. I also have reviews of the players I currently have in my games to help attest to the fact that this game will indeed be worth the price tag.
Once we get everyone into the game, we will spend the week before session 1, introducing ourselves, creating characters, and going over general lore in the discord. This is our session zero. You do not pay for this intro into the world and character creation. We will work together to build backstories that tie into the world. This allows for more immersion into the story. We will discuss what type of game we are all wanting to play, where and how we wish to start, and if any of our characters have connected backstories. With this completed we can go into the first session with a running jump. I am wanting to play either Wednesday or Thursday from 3pm CST to 7pm CST. We will be playing with 6 players.
Session 0 (the week before the first session) and the first actual session are both free.
Parting words
I understand that paying money to play this game can sometimes be off putting. But when you consider the man hours I put into creating an immersive campaign story for you to play, D&Dbeyond content, as well as other purchases I make to run a great campaign, it is almost nothing to pay for the numerous hours of enjoyment that you will receive in return. It not only assures my level of commitment but the other players as well. If you are concerned at all about my quality as a Dungeon Master I have 13 players currently paying for my games, and dozens more, that I have played with in the past, who would vouch for my ability.
I do prefer my players to be 18+, this allows for more mature topics to be discussed, but other than that all are welcome to apply. I can work with any skill level from the just watched CritRole (or other D&D media) and want to play to the old timers playing since before I was born. Something I have to add is, be open to constructive criticism, old players and new alike, we are playing a collaborative storytelling game together. If someone has an issue with something that happened we should be able to settle it as adults. If that is not something you think you can do I ask that you please find another game. If you can, then I will welcome you with open arms to our (virtual) table.

If you have made it this far in the post I commend you. I hope to see you at the table playing alongside me in this amazing new adventure. Bonus points if you can name the nine villains who rule the lands. If you are at all interested in playing a game with me please respond to this post with the following:
Name(nickname is fine): Age: Pronouns: Time zone: How long have you been playing DnD: What got you into DnD: Preferred style of game: Discord tag: Anything I should know: Questions for me:
Hey! I'm Twylen. I'm 22, NB, and use they/them pronouns. I started DnD almost 2 years ago, but have been roleplaying in general for 6. I got into DnD since my brother helped me get over my social anxiety to ask the people at the game store if I can play and learn. I was able to pick it up pretty fast. I prefer to have more roleplay over combat, and I enjoy finding other ways around combat and problem solving, but I can handle combat well as well, thinking of creative ways to end it or kill the villain/monster. My discord tag is Twylen#8952. Something you should know is that within this past year, for 9 months I was playing online DnD everyday and the campaign turned toxic. I gained a lot of good gaming experience, but what the DM put me through in game and out of game still has an affect on me today. I guess the question I have is, what is the typical reaction of the group if someone brings up and issue?
Your pitch looks promising, but one point has to be cleared up before I can seriously consider it:
In your opening paragraph, you state the available game openings are on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Then later in your post you state you want to play on Wednesday and Thursday. Can you clear that up?
Also, I'm sure it's an oversight, but you said Humans are not a playable race in your world. Then later you say, "All races and classes in official Wizards of the Coast published book are free game to use."
Im sorry yes, I posted this late that night and didn't proof read. The sessions were Sunday Tuesday and Friday and it should have said All races expect human. Thank you for you help in clarifying these thing. I am sorry to say that the games have all been filled.
