Low Magic Adventurers is recruiting 1 more player due to a player not being able to play the game anymore. So we are 2 games in and this week will make the 3rd game.
This game is a homebrew world thats pretty standard DnD that uses the standard 5E ruleset. The King died which plunged the world into chaos and war and after 10 years of fighting the war finally ends. The lands are broken up into 6 separate kingdoms and the people are rebuilding. The game starts 2 years after the war when someone in the kingdom of Evermere decides to reopen the Adventurers guild in capital city of Evermere. The players are the heroes of this campaign and start off by being invited to join the Guild. 1000 years before the game there was a great event and the strong magics were blocked from the world. this means the caster classes plus artificer is banned but part of the story is unlocking these banned classes for the players with a long term goal of unlocking the strong magics for the world. The characters will all also have a special magic item from their past that grows and gets strong as the character does. it grows every odd level.
This game is half combat and half RP but I also give the players alot of control over what they do until storylines force action which isnt often and are usually triggered by the players.
Story for the characters is very important to me. I wanna know the characters past which has made them what they are today.
Its also very important to me that the players will always be ontime and take the game seriously. The game is every Thursday at 1pm Pacific time and the game will always last at least 5 hour to usually run 6 hours each week,with a few short breaks during the game.
