I will bring my custom set Foundry VTT with a personally made database that makes character creation easy on Foundry. I have all the books and lore for races and character creation options which the Indigo Isles has to include many new races! I will be bringing custom music, tailored story to your character's backgrounds, and a wide expanse of knowledge on improv and the Indigo Isles itself.
I love using voices for characters in this setting, so be prepared to meet a bunch of unique and wacky pirate characters ready to cross blades on the open seas. The rules are are a set of guidelines which I am very comfortable letting go of and playing with less rules when story is high and bringing out some curve balls when tensions begin to rise in combat. You have full leeway to venture out into the world as you please.
You can create a crew, upgrade your ship, start a business, go on side-missions, discover the depths of the ocean or go into the deepest woods. Wherever you may go, adventure will await as will exciting NPCs that you may meet to tag along! The Indigo Isles is about more than a place of beautiful fantasy set on an ocean landscape of many colors, it is also a place of many tales which pull the heart strings of even the most stoic of pirates. There will be pockets of tragedy across our uplifting pirate adventure, and it is these moments that will define who your character really is. The game is meant to be played with the races given to us by the Isles- many variants of various creatures such as bird people, pig people, ram people, bunny people, coral people, and so many other races/subraces to explore.
The modular part of the adventure says it stops at level 11, but we are not confined to the pages in the book, and we can very well go up to as high as level 30 if we wish it. The leveling is at a standard rate for combat, and players are also rewarded extra experience for exploration, discovering new lore, finding hidden treasures, advancing personal as well as main quest story, skill challenges, and many more ways that characters can advance in this world beyond just the good ol boring hack n slash. You'll be rewarded for every significant step your characters take in improving themselves and understanding the world around them.
In addition to all these absolutely amazing things, I am very knowledgeable at Foundry coding, and I have experience with Python as well. Should the group ever go towards the direction of being streamed, there will be even more fun awaiting us as I have lots of coding already made from a previous streamed group of The Indigo Isles to use for Twitch! Making the adventure just that much more fun.
