Radiant Grave is a homebrew nobledark fantasy campaign set in Esterlyn, a land ravaged by a divine war. The gods are banished, magic is lost, and no new heroes will rise. But you are not new. Once, you were champions, monarchs, legends; now awakened in a world that has forgotten you. Your vast power lies dormant, withered by time. To reclaim what was lost, you must walk the land again and discover the meaning of your resurrection. There is no wealth to seek, only the strength of who you once were. There is no death to fear, only the purpose that binds you. As your legend rekindles, so too will the magic and might that you wielded long ago.

This campaign will be played weekly every Wednesday at 5pm eastern US time.

This is a 2014 rules campaign and the party will begin at level 5.

Themes for this campaign include legacy, destiny, and identity.

We will use DndBeyond for characters, Roll20 for maps, Discord for voice (mic required).

This campaign is streamed and recorded.

Players must be 18 years or older and must be friendly and tolerant of others.

Characters will begin with a full set of gear which will gain bonuses as they level up.

I'm a huge DnD nerd, but I'm kind of a forever DM, haven't gotten the opportunity to play in quite a while, but I would absolutely love the opportunity to do so. I'm a very passionate and creative person, I run two different campaigns set in my own homebrew fantasy world. I love roleplaying, combat and strategizing. I have about a million concepts for characters I'd like to play, here are two of them:

- A young elven drakewarden ranger, closely bonded with a green dragon hatchling she found abandoned in the forest, with an arrow lodged in her scales. She nursed the little one back to health, and learned that she had been abandoned by her mother due to her abnormally gentle nature, which her mother interpreted as weakness. After being abandoned, she tried to approach another elf, who responded by shooting her, assuming the chromatic hatchling would grow up to be a force of evil. The ranger wants to nurture  the rare spark of compassion and kindness she sees in her little dragon companion. She herself is an outcast, and she views the dragon as a reflection of herself.

- A draconic sorcerer, the distant ancestor of a green dragon and the first of her bloodline to be born with sorcerous powers in several generations. On the surface she appears as a kind-hearted and good-natured person, but underneath she struggles against the darker thoughts and urges her chromatic heritage has cursed her with; her gentle soul is in constant conflict with the toxic dragon blood that courses through her veins. She strives to fight against her nature and become a force of good in the world.

A bit about me- I am friendly to a point, I am a disabled veteran with a TBI (traumatic brain injury) so sometimes people think I am being mean, when I am just dealing with my PTSD and trying to stay social instead of turtling up. I am an ally- and I will literally play with anyone. I am a stay at home father and I work with special needs and elderly doing cabulance- (non emergency transportation from hospital back to home).

Character ideas:
1. HalfDrow, or Halfelf Bard- His name is Axel Baccara (black rose). Not your average bard, he cares very little for sex, he is more or less aesexual, but he DOES care about "people" of all races and  so on. He has been treated with racism his whole life, and vows to end it by regaining the great status he once had, using his music to reinvent himself to an old glory and hopefully save life as he knows it. He is scrappy but tries to find diplomatic ways to solve things, he will be pulled into a fight rather quickly though and because of his suicidal tendencies he risks more then he should.
2.Tarhun "Napalm" Turnuroth - sometimes known as "TNT" for his explosive and volatile nature, he hungers for a youth he has lost through the years. Proven himself in battle, the barbarian. Tarhun has crimson scales that shimmer like molten lava, with streaks of black and orange creating a blazing pattern. His eyes burn with an intense, fiery glow, and his wings resemble roaring flames when fully extended. His powerful frame exudes strength and commands respect. Once a formidable force in his prime, Tarhun carved out a fearsome reputation on the battlefield. He led countless victorious battles, amassing wealth and respect from allies and enemies alike. However, as time passed and the wear of countless battles took its toll, he found himself yearning for the days of his youth, where his strength seemed boundless and his fiery spirit unquenchable. Now in the midst of a midlife crisis, Tarhun is determined to reignite the fire within him.

My first idea is(both subject to change) an ancient dragon, one who was deeply enamored with the arcane before it disappeared. Now he scavenges old dungeons and ruins in search of scrolls that might awaken his former magic. However, he'd come to realize magic was also his ticking time bomb. With each passing day, he grows weaker without his magic.... and ultimately, closer to his end.

Second idea being one of my older characters "Draco." A powerful sorcerer in fire magic, arguably the best, who was well-known for his abilities. Until a war broke out, and his fire was put to the test. There he lay, on a battlefield of corpses almost a century old, comatose. The corpses were a surprise to him as he stood up and surveyed the landscape.... however, it was not the corpses that surprised him the most. He looked down at his now powerless hands that once shot fire magic and mumbled... "Who am I..?"
