The town of Feston is preparing for its Grand Decennial Festival—a celebration of light and harvest that only occurs once every ten years. It is supposed to be a time of joy, music, and trade.
But this year, the roads are strangely quiet.
Merchants traveling from afar have ceased arriving. The few who have stumbled through the gates speak of the woods moving, of paths that eat boots, and shadows that don't cast correctly. Inside the walls, it is no better. A "Creeping Fever" has begun to take hold of the villagers, and the local healer is overwhelmed.
You are travelers, mercenaries, or locals caught in Feston as the gates are barred. To survive, you must uncover what is happening to the roots of this town before the Festival begins.

I am looking for players who enjoy uncovering secrets, interacting with NPCs, and handling a bit of madness. We will be using the new 2024 ruleset, so this is a great chance to try out the new mechanics.
