Hello, I'm running a new homebrew campaign starting in Waterdeep on the Sword Coast. You are welcome to play any race/class you wish. 4d6 minus the lower for base stats. You need a backstory and start your character at level 5. I do allow mulit-class. I need 4 players. You can pre-select any +1 to AC or +1/+1 att/dmg weapon/armor to start. Must be attunement. Long term campaign, ending at level 20+
Starting Date: Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 5PM-8PM PST
Requirements: THIS IS A NON-EVIL CAMPAIGN i.e. NO EVIL CHARACTERS ALLOWED 1. Respect all players including DM, that includes being on time and communicating if you are running late. 2. You need to have TTS and a Microphone and Discord. TTS is Tabletop Simulator, which can be found on Steam for $20 US. 3. Know the basics of the 5e. New players are welcome, but atleast know the very basics of the game. 4. Have fun, that's the goal of everyone.
Setting - This takes place the mid 15th century DR calendar. Starting in Waterdeep. Each player has nobility in Waterdeep. Depending on what you choose will determine which house and which Nobility you are from. Each character starts off with a 2 acre piece of land and a large house inside Waterdeep, as well as 3000gp. Basic traveling equipment is included, including a mount. When I see your character sheet creation on dndbeyond, i'll accept based on what fits with the story and based on the interest of the player and how well they present themselves. Saying you're simply interested in not going to get my attention. Tell me what you want to play, how you want to present your character, what sort of goal you have in mind. That sort of thing. That all being said, I'll explain the story further. But, you're a group of noblemen/women who have been tasked by the Lords of Waterdeep to retrieve a supposed nest of Golden Dragon eggs that have been reported by a scout. These eggs will provide strength to the Kingdom of Waterdeep. That is where you will begin.
If interested, leave me a link to your 5th level character and tell me what your character is like and tell me a little about you as a player and we'll go from there.
No evil, I got that, but is like morally gray allowed? Idk, I'm just trying to figure out how I can make a Skaven (https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/310987-skaven) fit your campaign. Wanting to run a Skaven a multi-class of soulknife rouge, and horizon walker ranger. I am PST time. I would love the idea of taking a race like that and making the teleporting assassin for hire. I've also considered making a Charr (from Guild Wars) multiclass of a warlock hexblade and artificer. Making like a suedo engineer.
morally gray is okay, what I mean by evil is that, you can't play a character that goes out and terrorizes communities for enjoyment, or murders children, or rapes players...etc. That kind of malicious evil that is toxic is what i mean. As far as aligntment goes, I'll allow everything but Chaotic Evil. Yes you can do neutral evil, cuz that can be pretty neutral.

Morally gray is fine, and skaven is fine. You need a history location though. I'd suggest the sewers of Waterdeep?
