Revisit online the one that started it all for fifth edition. Hoard of the Dragon Queen, expanding to it's follow up: Rise of Tiamat. Can you save Fareún from being scorched and torn asunder? I am an experienced DM currently looking for 2 more players to join my campaign. I have been playing D&D for most of my life and understand the aspects of the game.
I employ professional made battle maps, area maps and other supporting art, so there will always be something for your eye to explore while the game is on. I use plenty of ambiance and thematic music throughout the session to improve the feel and bring you into the story. Although I am using a published module, I incorporate my own side quests, NPC's, and adventures to add depth to the campaign. The game will be set in the forgotten realms setting This adventure will take you from levels 1 - possibly 15 ; which means lots of opportunities to develop not only a character but friendship between the players as well.
Benefits of Pay to Play
Almost everyone wants a free game online, but many DM's are inexperienced or unprofessional . Does this sound familiar?:
You waste tons of time filling out applications, but by the time you apply, you don’t get in. The games you do get into, have players who are not consistent, ghost in the middle of the campaign, or do not take the game seriously. Sometimes the DM doesn't show up or is unprepared. It's irritating to go through this experience time after time, especially when all you want to do is relax and have fun playing.
Here are some of the reasons why professionally-run paid games provide a superior experience:
Charging a small per-person fee does away with flaky players.
The small fee also guarantees those in the group are invested in the session.
Players are more serious in paid games.
Players accept "in game" consequences and do not give up on the game easily.
A gaming experience that is more fun and exciting for everyone overall.
The cost of running the game is taken care of. This includes the Roll20 assets, maps, tokens, etc.
Roll20 Pro membership ensures that players have access to all of the extras, including D&D 5e Compendium integration, API scripts, and more. All of it shared with the players.
Character tokens will be included.
Support for beginners for free.
If you are interested, respond below, hit me up on a private message here or on Discord @ Mad Drow #7274 and I will send you a link to the game on Roll20 that has the player application in the campaign forum. I am planning on starting the game on Friday, May 15 with a session 1. Despite the situation around the world, and how fluid everyone's schedule is, I am looking for players who can make a long term commitment and be consistent. If the situation changes, and we need to adapt the schedule we will. This is not a drive thru game, or Adventurer's League. I am trying to put together a long term group. This is one of the MAJOR reasons this will be a PTP game. Have a great day!
