soooo. I'm currently making a Beyond version of my friend's Way of Gravity (think Jedi-adjacent) subclass. His lv 17 capstone feature includes the passive ability to double ones total Ki so i was wondering if anyone knows how to make that a feature in the builder? and if it's not possible, how to make a thread or request to add the ability to make that a feature.
Thanks in advance for any advice or news!

I make League of Legends' Champions into 5e statblocks! Will also make some notable items from the universe at some point!
You can’t in the builder, but you might try the Homebrew forums and someone might be able to help you. If you are doing a whole new subclass there might be a homebrew subclass option to add more. Or a magic item/feat that might be able to add the Ki points.
You can't do it AFAIK, and you're not going to be able to ask for the feature (they only implemented stuff in the builder that's needed for official mechanics, and they're not doing that these days (hopefully because there's a rebuild of the entire system in the offing))
What you could do is have a short-rest recharge no-action-cost ability to recharge the character's ki pool. Except in the specific case that you need to spend two and only have one, it's functionally equivalent.
You can also add an action with limited uses set to provide however many extra Ki points you want to give; this is how Metamagic Adept works when you take it on a Sorcerer. So the player just needs to remember they can check these off in addition to their normal Ki points.
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
