I am playing an Eldarin ranger and looking to subclass into Fey Wanderer. With the easy combo of using Fey Step, I’m looking to trigger the use of Beguiling Twist as much as possible (especially later with Fey Reinforcements).
But my main question is this: The wording of Beguiling Twist states “In addition, whenever you or a creature you can see within 120 feet of you succeeds on a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can use your reaction….”
In the case of the wording “succeeds on a saving throw against being charmed or frightened”, does this refer to the first, initial saving throw meant to completely prevent any charm/fear effects, or does this mean that if a character has been charmed/frightened and fails their saving throw for a few rounds, but then finally makes a “successful saving throw”, does this ability trigger on that successful save as well?
TL:DR
Do charm/fear saves that succeed in later rounds also trigger Beguiling Twist, or only the initial round that the charm/fear effects first took place on?

I would say it includes saves on subsequent turns, because it is still a saving throw against an affect.
When you repeat a saving throw, you are effectively still making one against being charmed or frightened.
