Had a clarifying question about using crimson rite with a polearm. In the old version a blood hunter could activate a rite on each end of the polearm since each end of the weapon could make an attack with the polearm master feat. Now after the update the wording says "A weapon can only a single active rite at a time". Does this mean that you only get the crimson rite damage on the main attacks, or do you also get it with the bonus action attack?
As a bonus action, you can activate a crimson rite on a single weapon with the elemental energy of a known rite of your choice that lasts until you finish a short or long rest, or if you aren’t holding the weapon at the end of your turn.
For the duration, attacks from this weapon deal an additional 1d4 damage of the chosen rite’s type.
My understanding of that wording was to limit a single crimson rite to a single weapon (unless specified elsewhere, like both the Lycan's claws). I don't see anything in the wording that would indicate only one end of a weapon has the rite enabled on it. I think it still works with polearm master.

"Not all those who wander are lost"
So in theory is the whole weapon lit up more or less, explaining why both ends can do damage? Just trying to picture it in my head.
