Hello, first post here, ive been researching a lot about hags, not just in dnd, but also in slavic and celtic folklore!
I want to make a green Hexblood, but its a boy, in my mind i have this idea of a hag making a deal with the parents for them to be able to have kids, but theyll have to give the first borne.
When she went to collect the child it was a boy, the hag was mad, but a deal is a deal, but here is where i have problems, personal, immersion problems, i know if a hag consume a kid he/she will be borne again as a girl! I want the hexblood to be a boy, i want him to be raised as a girl, have a "girl name" and use she/her pronouns.
At the same time i have this idea of the hag being a Green hag from a coven of a Night and Bheur hag, but they answer to a Annis, each one of the three had to raise a child.
In the story i like to think it would be a coven of five hags, each symbolizing one point of the wiccan pentagram, but one hag died and they had to create another one, or they want to make a very powerfull one combining special and strong children.
I'm having problems with the hags motivation, anything i write feel forced and very lazy, i want some inspiration or guidence plz!
Maybe a male birth amongst hags is some kind of special event, where the boy is not super powerful like a daughter would be, but can be specially raised to become an uber-powerful sacrifice? Maybe the boy isn’t really powerful himself, but can be used to sire powerful daughters? Perhaps you’re an anomaly, plain and simple, and were raised by the coven so they could study you. And of course, there’s always the “I’m the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy” story, although that’s a little cliched.

I live with several severe autoimmune conditions. If I don’t get back to you right away, it’s probably because I’m not feeling well.
As you're going for something that's clearly in some kind of "exception to the rule/norm" territory, I would say ask your DM what is possible/permissible within their game as they're the ultimate arbiter of how the rules of mythology work in said game. They might just say "nope" but they might also be willing to work with it and have ideas as to how to do so, especially if the mythological background fits into the setting and you're willing to be flexible on parts, which sounds to be the case. Always work with your DM!
i havent find anything about it, seem exactly what i need, can you guide me a little further?
Ganondorf is the main antagonist of the Legend of Zelda video game series. While each one is essentially a standalone separate story, elements remain from each one (like the recurring villain). The story in the Ocarina of Time relates it the best that I'm aware of (I haven't played close to all of those games, but I've played enough), which has Ganondorf being born to the Gerudo, a tribe consisting of all women.
In their tribe, a male is born once every 100 years and I think is usually kicked out or something, but Ganondorf instead became their leader and was all evil and stuff. I don't remember the details or plot exactly, but I'm at least hitting the big picture. Gerudo are more of a warrior type tribe than a hag coven, but I think if you looked them up you could find enough details and similarities to fill in the gaps to your own story.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

Like Ganondorf of the Gerudo, every once on a while a male hag is "born" (created) and is either:
A) destined for greatness
B) ostracised by the coven/society
Honestly I dunno how to fit this exact comparison but it seemed close enough to warrant a look, maybe there's some inspiration to be had.
