any tips on making a godlike creature/species as I am currently trying (key word trying) to make a homebrew campain and a major plot point is my players (still in process) meting and eventualy fighting one of these artificial gods called remnants. I only have one stat block so far and am open to suggestions on how to make them better.
Well, first questions would be, what do you want them to do? What's the lore around them, are they indestructible, or just very tough? What makes them god-like? Is it their strength and speed, or the ability to warp space and time, or to create things?
Let us know what you want them to be in your world and you're much more likely to have a decent response!
Also - there are loads of statblocks for very powerful creatures (gods/archdevils etc.) - if you give a rough outline of one, it might be relatively easy to reskin a archdevil or something similar. e.g. https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/17462-ogremoch for some sort of stone titan/remnant etc.
hey figured this was the best place to ask
