Because 2024 Tarrasques have range and 2014 does not so they would be very different scenarios.

Players obviously win. They're the only ones who don't have to stay and fight, so they nip out - into some pocket dimension or other - for 10 rounds, then return and sweep up whatever remains.
This is a battle royale, right? Yea, players absolutely win this.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.

If you leave the field of battle, then you lose. That has been human rules since the days of Troy.
The dragons win by a loooong shot. They have 30 units in total, this means that there are at least 3 ancient dragons fighting against each tarrasque. If the dragons coordinate, those who can swim will try and lure the others to the closest body of water, gold dragons can weaken strength, which would be a massive blow to the tarrasques' ability to fight back, which would then allow several dragon types to focus fire on a few tarrasques at a time, which could easily shred through legendary resistances.
The fight would very likely leave the dragons somewhat worse for wear, but not enough to fall to a party of 7 level 20 characters. The legendary actions of that many dragons would obliterate any party no matter how tanky.
If you ask me nobody does as that scenario is a classic "End of the World" prophecy where the planet below and everybody on it is destroyed as collateral damage. Then Tiamat shows up with a "now, now children, BEHAVE!" comment as the curtain is drawn down on that realm.
Dragons win, they can fly really fast and use incredibly powerful breath weapons.

But ... you don't. I figure - honestly - the best solution here is to use a Wish to insta-cast Tiny Hut. Bam! Wait in there, come out, clean up. Win. Never left the field.

So, they open the door of the hut and the entire landscape is burned and devestated to the horizon with everything in vision dead. That`s a lot of cleaning up.
Using Tiny Hut in this scenario is one of the worst possible choices you could make other than just running head first into the fight. Literally every other side has massive breath attacks and legendary actions, the moment the hut is let down, the chances of you getting turned to dust is ridiculously high.
The smartest choice for the party to do is to just kill any stranglers with the martias acting as the spear head to kill anything as fast as possible while any spellcasters use the Invulnerability or Shapechange spells to actually stand a chance. If any of the characters go down they will not have the time to heal back up.

This is when you finally sit down and work out that Roomba spell you always figured would be wonderful, but never had time to design.

But .. it's a battle royale. The point is that everyone fights everyone. So when you drop the hut, there's barely anyone around - and those that are, are wounded.

You go into a hut, you lose as you have left the field of battle.
With a quote/comment like that (enter a magical hut), do you even know or understand what leaving the field of battle means?
I mean, they’re still in the field, it’s just they’re basically worthless until they come out. The problem is that nearly every single dragon will glasses them with their +12 in initiative.
Actually they are not. If they are still in the field, they can lose HP. The intent reads as if they cannot be hurt, therefore they left and will have lost.

Never was it stated to be a battle royale, it was explicitly stated to be a 7 player party vs 30 ancient dragons vs 10 tarrasques. How did you even come to that conclusion?

Okay if a wizard casts the Invulnerability spell, do they suddenly lose because they can’t get hurt for that period in time? In fact, if the dragons just fly above any spell or attack's range, do they also instantly lose?

"When are we gonna take a snack break?"
Are we assuming a complete free for all, or how does this work?
Players?!? They’re gonna have a rough time.
Characters could maybe have a chance.
30 ancient dragons against 7? A lvl 20 PC against 4 ancient dragons is just not going to work. Scale it up and it just gets worse for the characters.
