So I have a player that has found her way to being estranged by the raven queen. She was once a great follower but lost her way.
Recently she came back and has found a new path back to the raven queen and defeated one of the raven queen's most devious enemy.
I was thinking of a good boon or raven queen's blessing to give the character but I can't think of anything really good that won't over power the players hero.
Any ideas on a boon or a good blessing that a player can get from this? She did go astray, but came back and completed the mission. The raven queen is happy that she completed the task but still a little bent about her going astray. So the reward has to fit.
If I had a say (and I don't), I'd lean toward the uncertain madness part of the Raven Queen's lore and curse (bless?) the once-wayward character to have only memories of being loyal to the Raven Queen and no memories of anything else. The Raven Queen might consider such to be a great gift.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
I'd lean toward something extremely powerful that they can use once, and that usage draws them deeper into the embrace of the Raven Queen.
You awaken from a fitful slumber fraut with haunted dreams clutching a dagger wrought of ice cold obsidian, if you look closely you can see lost souls swirling deep within the blade. The nightmares slowly fade until all that remains is a hoary voice echoing inside your head, "In a time of great need use this blade to sever your shadow and summon Inumbramanus." Further research reveals that Inumbramanus, also know as The Hand of Shadow, is an ancient shadow dragon in the service of the Raven Queen. In dark circles it is whispered that Inumbramanus's power comes from the shadows it possesses.
While the ability to summon an ancient dragon is extremely powerful, and may certainly wreck an encounter, it's not likely to wreck a campaign. Whatever the drawbacks of your shadow being possessed are, just the choice of when to summon the dragon is dramatic in and of itself. Is this the time of greatest need...
In a previous campaign, I had the Raven Queen give two characters a charm. I used the list as suggestions and basically created a charm that worked like a beneficial potion (one was Superior healing, and I cannot remember the other) both worked three times and then disappeared. At 12th level, I had the unconscious character roll a persuasion check, and the RQ activated his last use of the charm to fend off the failed third death save and he popped back up with a healthy new respect of both the DQ and the kobold paladin/rogue that backstabbed him :)

All thoughts welcome. :)
What level is your character? If it’s 20, then an epic boon would be ok.
Maybe a raven familiar? Or pet with which the raven queen can talk to the character
