Like, literally with the same skillset as Deadpool, or more like you want an in-game justification for them to be breaking the 4th Wall?
If the latter, the best I could do is have them be a Great Old One Warlock, and justify it by saying the lost, maddening knowledge they were given was the fact that everything is just pen and paper controlled by dice.
fighting wise I'm thinking of either duel wielding fighter or ranger.... maybe a little of rogue for that sweet sneak attack but that would be optional and maybe unnecessary.
I'm thinking Champion (or UA Brute) for the improved critical rate and healing factor at level 18... It's pretty far and even minuscule but a healing factor nonetheless... the brute really pushes Deadpool's lack of dying with his level 7 brutish durability which also specifically applies to death saving throws).
The hunter ranger is a pretty good whirlwind of death especially with their whirlwind attack and extra damage with colossus killer.
Other than the healing factor you get at level 18 (which would also limit any multiclassing) I really don't know how you would get a real healing factor.. you can probably ask your DM to homebrew a feat which you can then take as a variant human
I would make him as a half-orc (re-skinned) for the ugliness and Relentless endurance. I would start with a DeX based fighter for 2 weapon fighting style and 2nd wind. Then go Bear totem barbarian for even more durability. The tough feat would be important, and then maybe (reskin) cleric for the healing factor.
Don't a lot of players break the 4th wall all the time already? Maybe it's mostly at the tables I find myself at, but it seems to be pretty common for players to meta-game.
For the build, I would probably go Hexblade for the Thirsting Blade and Armor of Agathys with 4 levels in Barbarian for Bear Totem to simulate his near un-killability.
I am actually currently playing a superhero campaign with a home brew close to great old one only I made the dm as my patron so I can break the 4th wall. I worked with my dm for this one. We are playing a wacky superhero campaign. I pull crazy things out of no where as long as the dm is OK with it.
My namesake character Thoruk is a character who absent-mindedly tumbles through the multiverse without ever realising. I play him not so much as breaking the 4th wall, but as having passing knowledge of things from our modern world - which he never explains. Just passing comments like "these people need to get themselves a vacuum cleaner" or "it's probably electrical", or "Oh, for a grenade" which he never elaborates on. I just throw them out occasionally for people to roleplay their confusion. If I'm pressed on it or someone says "that doesn't exist", I just brush it off with "Oh, I must have dreamt that one then...". Thoruk's very easygoing with all the things he's seen.
I might be the only one thinking this but the undying warlock gets indestructible life that provides the neat being severed and cut to pieces and not having to care ability similar to Deadpool but warlocks miss out on a lot of the combat abilities of Deadpool so a fighter/warlock multiclass. Thematically looks a bit like the movie where he was a fighter and multiclassed after what’s his nuts tortured him.

I'm thinking of making a character like Deadpool, who breaks the fourth wall. Any tips?

Are you sure you can do this without annoying everybody around you?

Sounds like fun!
