So, in a game last night, I had my imp familiar who normally flies at 40' polymorph into a raven that can fly 60'.
The party's wizard who was bent out of shape because my familiar is better than his**, insisted that my imp would lose his ability to remain invisible if he polymorphed (agin, a natural ability)
Does anyone know if the rules address this issue?
** warlock familiars ARE better than standard familiars :)
"Shapechanger. The imp can use its action to polymorph into a beast form that resembles a rat (speed 20 ft.), a raven (20 ft., fly 60 ft.), or a spider (20 ft., climb 20 ft.), or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form, except for the speed changes noted. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies."

No, of course it would retain Invisibility.

Chilling kinda vibe.
Thanks!
Side note. If the wizard’s player wants a super charged familiar he needs to play a warlock with only 2 spell slots instead of a wizard.
