This document corrects and clarifies some text in Tales from the Yawning Portal. These changes appear in recent printings of the book and have been applied across D&D Beyond.

Chapter 3

The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan (p. 62–63)

The Sepulcher of Tloques-Popolocas (p. 69)

In the Treasure section, in the eighth bullet point, the “ring of resistance (fire)” is now a “ring of protection.”

Chapter 7

24. Adamantine Door (p. 223)

The last sentence has been changed to “There is no way of opening it from the east side.”

Appendix B

Champion (p. 231)

In the “Actions” section, “Light Crossbow” is now “Shortbow.” In that attack’s description, “6 (1d8 + 2)” is now “5 (1d6 + 2).”

Conjurer (p. 232)

In the Spellcasting trait, the cantrips now have no asterisks.

Evoker (p. 235)

In the Sculpt Spells trait, “forces other creatures it can see” is now “forces other creatures it can see to make a saving throw.”
