Accident Prone Image

Chaos follows you wherever you go, and you have come to expect the unexpected. This chaos usually takes the form of magic, and is most common in wild magic sorcerers. Due to your disastrous luck, some event in your past, or series of events occurred that have lead you to be very cautious. Did you accidentally burn a village to the ground? Or turn into a potted plant and fall off of a high ledge? No matter, you will strive to make sure you don't cause another accident. You wrestle with the threads of chaos in hopes of turning it to your own personal gain.

Feature: Controlled Chaos

You unlock this feature at 5th level. You have learned to channel the chaos that plagues your life... to an extent. At the end of a short or long rest, roll on the Controlled Chaos table to determine a buff or effect. The rolled effect will be in place until the following rest. Work with your dm to create a table of effects or use the one listed. Whatever effect you generate is pure chance, but hopefully you can take advantage of the random gift you were given. With your effect, you should gain temporary personality traits, physical features, or odd quirks. Each buff should come with a catch or a downside, and it is up to you to role play the consequences of your character gaining a temporary ability.

Suggested Characteristics

You are cautious, and perhaps overly wary, maybe even downright paranoid. Anxiety plagues your life, and you will do what you can to avoid disaster at all cost.

Variant Feature: Wild Surge

The chaos that runs rampant through your life takes the form of wild magic. Every time you roll a natural 1, roll on the wild surge table.
