You are a blacksmith , most comfortable when you have a hammer in your hand and sweat pouring off your face. You might’ve worked in the Dwarven Mines forging weapons for their Army , or maybe you worked as a simple human in a smithy. Whatever you choose , the smithy is your live hood and home . The metal ( or your preferred material ) has left it’s mark on your hands and as a result , you can craft beautiful works of art. Roll a D4 or Choose your preferred material from below.
1 = Shields and Armour. 2 = Wooden weapons , string weapons and leather armour. 3 = Jewels and Trinkets. 4 = All Metal Weapons. ( I didn’t know how to get a table up so I did it like this )
- Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient with the skills : Athletics or Arcana , Perception
- Tool Proficiencies: You have proficiency with the Smith’s Tools and any other tool set associated with your field of work.
- Languages: You can speak two languages of your choice.
- Equipment: A set of common clothes , smith’s tools , the hammer the person who taught you used , 10 lbs of basic steel , leather or wood , a log book of everything you’ve made , a bag that carries 30 lbs that can be used to carry food , items or things that need fixing and a pouch containing 15 gp.
You instantly recognise any item that is in your field of work. You can tell if there’s any magic on it , it’s effects , who made it and what it’s worth. You can also try to repair that item with a successful DC 12 Intelligence (Arcana) check , only if it’s magic. If non magical , it’s a Wisdom (Perception) Check. You must finish a short rest to get the Iron Fists Feature back.
