Are We The Baddies? Image

Your people are not known for their heroism. In fact quite the opposite. Your kind are the bad guys, ambushing adventurers on the roads, attacking unprotected villages and often finding themselves recruited into the army of a greater villain.

But not you. For some reason, whether it be a run in with a kind adventurer that showed you mercy, the intervention of a deity or simply a yearning to be more than the world sees you as, you’ve chosen to turn over all the leaves and have set out to become a hero.

Skill Proficiencies: Intimidation, Survival
Languages: Choose two of the following: Draconic, Giant, Goblin, Gnoll, Infernal, Orc, Undercommon.

Gnoll can be added as a custom language from the character sheet.

Equipment: A hooded cloak, a set of common clothes, a keepsake liberated from an adventurer, a pouch containing 10 gp and either a crowbar, a mining pick or a hunting trap.

Feature: Harmful Stereotypes

You may not be evil, but they don’t know that. Most common folk aren’t used to seeing your kind strolling down the street or browsing in the local store and would be inclined to keep their distance. Flashing your teeth or claws, or making some other intimidating gesture, would likely scare them off.

Suggested Characteristics
