Amnesiac

You wake up with no memory of your past or how you ended up here. All you have on you are the clothes you are wearing, a pouch containing 10 gp, and a couple of trinkets in your pockets, which confuses you as to why you'd have such items. You are sore and tired. Was this from torture you've received or was it from something that happened before you ended up here? How long have you been here? Why are you here? How did you get here? So many questions and so few answers.

Feature: Believable Confusion

You are obviously struggling with your current condition. Due to your amnesia, others are more likely to believe things that you say about yourself. You have advantage on any Charisma checks made when talking about something you cannot remember yourself. The common people who learn of your condition will also pity you and give you food and shelter when you come across them.

Suggested Characteristics

People with amnesia have received both a gift and a curse. On one hand, whatever bad deeds or sins you may have committed, they are forgotten. On the other, any cherished memories are also forgotten. People with amnesia may have a desire to find out who they were while others' desire to become someone new takes priority. Regardless, the present and future are all the amnesiac can work with now.
