When taking a short rest you may give one friendly animal temp hp equal to your level, and when you spend hit die to heal you may heal that animal for the same amount.

Friendly and caring, stablehands tend to form strong bonds with the beasts they care for. That friendly demeanor can often be extended to other people as well. Some stablehands love animals to a fault and can neglect other relationships in their life. Others react violently towards animal abuse. Stablehands also tend to be rather dim as the job doesn't require much education but demands lots of time.
