Traveller/Nomad (V2) Image

You've been traveling the land as long as you can remember. You were born on the road, and have never settled in one place for too long since. No-one quite knows who you are, as they've never seen you around before. You know the lay of the land quite well, as you have been to most places through the land. Any friendships you make don't tend to last, as they never see you for more than a week. You know what to say to people to get your way in minor ways (You can convince a tavernkeeper to give you a discount on a beer or something simple like this). You own one horse and one cart which is part of a much larger travelling convoy. This convoy is like a small society. You travel everywhere with them, stopping outside of villages to resupply, and earn money for the next town you visit. This convoy could provide shelter and assistance to the members of the party you are a part of for your campaign for very little cost, or for free (You wouldn't have to pay, but the others in your party may have to. This is up to your DM, but it will always cost less than a room at any tavern).

Skill Proficiencies: You are proficient in History, Nature, and Investigation. You are also half-proficient in Persuasion.

Languages: You know one extra language from your travels, you also know a code which only you and the members of your convoy know (The members of your party wouldn't know this and members of a DIFFERENT convoy also wouldn't know this).
Equipment: You get to add two trinkets (Of your choice) from this list that you have acquired through your journeys.

- Dagger

- Amulet spell focus

- A small storage chest (Empty)

- A set of dice (Your choice of what dice)

- A Dragon Ante card deck (Your choice what type)

- A Dragon Chess set

- A non-magical ring (Something from your Mother or Father or an ancestor (Doesn't have to be from a relative though, just has to be something of significance to your character)

- Some kind of ancestral trinket that has been passed down from parent to child over the many years

d6 Personality Trait
1 You are a wise individual, and everyone can tell that about you.
2 Your well acquainted with change, and new events don't phase you in the slightest regardless of what they are.
3 You are slow and decisive. Your years on the roads have taught you not to rush an idea, but to instead think well about anything.
4 Who cares what people think of you? They won't see you for long anyway, and they're unlikely to ever meet you again.
5 You are calm and considered. No point rushing into the situation, rather look it over, asses all points, then go in and act.
6 You rush into situations without giving them any thought. You say and do before you think. What point is there in thinking it through? Life is short, might as well live to your fullest.
d4 Ideal
1 All people deserve the kindness of others, you've seen how hard life is without it.
2 Why should you be kind to anyone? No-ones ever shown you any kindness, so why do they deserve your kindness?
3 People deserve the right to do whatever they want. No one person should have power over that.
4 People must do what they were born into. They owe it to their ancestors to continue their legacy, and their work.
d1 Bond
1 You are loyal to your convoy, and will die for any one of them. In fact, that's why you're in this business to both provide for them, and make the world a safer place.
d1 Flaw
1 You've seen how bad the people of your land can be, so you expect and assume the worst in all people.
